The Great Brotherhood is violent non-state faction  with obscure origin. Not many is known about this radical militants who came into provenance by appearing in mainstream media with their unmentionable acts of atrocities.

The Brotherhood is a non-playable faction but they play a pivotal role in wreaking havoc in the battlefield of Risk Malaysia. They appear randomly towards the end-game and can topple the dominating players by conducting a massive wave of coordinated terror attacks.

History
As the world fell into chaos, a group of rag tag militants banded together under a black flag with the goal to form the Great Brotherhood States. The Brotherhood quickly seized the opportunity to fill the power vacuum left behind by Eastern and Western 'imperialists' by capturing several settlements and military installations in the Middle East and Central Asia. Their 'united brotherhood against imperialists' ideology appealed to the poor and downtrodden in the two regions, spawning various other splinter cells who affiliated themselves with the decentralised yet powerful organisation.

A figure finally appeared on the mainstream media after a massive riot in Tarastan brought down Tarastanian President Mukhammat's 54-years old regime and is replaced by the Brotherhood's council. Addressing himself as Brother Fayed, the illusive leader of the Great Brotherhood orchestrated coordinated attacks on neighbouring states and expanded its influence as far as into Indochina. With the ensuing instability in the South East Asia, added by the inevitable Sino-American conflict, Brother Fayed had uploaded a video saying the Brotherhood is coming to Malaysia.

Political Structure
It is unknown how the Great Brotherhood actually organises itself. Initially EU intelligence assumed that the joint military assault with President Mukhammat's loyalists on Tarastanian capital of Ambokh will surely break the shadow organisation. With suspected lieutenants caught and apparently Brother Fayed himself killed in action during the siege,  splinter cells such as Al Brotherhood and Brotherhood State coordinated counter-strikes with apparently no clear leader at the helm. It is theorised that Brother Fayed has contingency strategies planned out after his death, or that he may actually have survived and fled elsewhere to continue coordinating the Brotherhood. Another theory is that Brother Fayed is just a title, and that another Brother had replaced him as the organisation continues to be led by unknown benefactors.

Whatever the case, the latest warning by Brother Fayed is a threat to the region. Names such as Brother Jules and Brother Mikhail have been mentioned and are suspected to be the key Brotherhood members spearheading the impending uprising here.

Military
The Brotherhood plants sleeping cells prior to an 'uprising'. These sleeping cells will blend in with the locals while at the same time incite hatred towards the current regime to inspire an uprising which leads to the toppling of the government. With the people taking over the streets and causing anarchy and chaos, the Brotherhood then commences their coordinated attacks.

The Brotherhood armed forces are organised into two divisions; Militants and Fanatics. Militants varies from unskilled civilians to seasoned veterans who conduct the skirmishes and seize key installations. Fanatics is the special branch which consist of ideologically-motivated individuals willing to conduct suicidal attacks for the Greater Cause. The two will work in tandem, with Fanatics blowing up defenses and sending the enemy into disarray, followed by the Militants who will sweep the remaining forces and immediately capture the settlement.
